Tree Protection Order sorted, work begins

Having applied for and confirmed the Tree Protection Order on behalf of the client, the Bury St Edmunds client booked us in for a day, so we kitted up with the usual climbing gear and trusty chipper and got to work on this tree removal. The job required a full climb of the tree to remove every branch with our top of the range topping saw, and our ground team safely lowered each branch removed on a rigging line, to avoid any damage to the fence, shed and greenhouse. Once on the ground, every bit of this gigantic tree was taken out the garden and chipped up, keeping everything tidy.

The biggest challenges of this particular tree job was the size of the tree and the timeframe we wanted to complete the work in. We knew we could do it in a day to give the client the best value for money, and we knew with our experience we can comfortably do the job safely. 

Stump removal for a clean finish

After dismantling the tree, which is the best way to do a tree removal as a tree surgeon when in an urban environment, the client was keen for us to grind the stump away to give a good finish to the lawn (a lawn that can now flourish with all the extra light pouring in!). Stump grinding is a worthwhile extra to any tree felling job, especially in a garden, and we’re pleased to offer it as a service.
